I have been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1981. I am admitted to all the Courts of the State of Georgia, including the Georgia Supreme Court and Georgia Courts of Appeals. I am admitted to the United States Federal Court for the Southern District of Georgia. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in 1978. I received my law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in 1981. While completing my Juris Doctorate degree, I attended the University of Utah School of Law in Salt Lake City, Utah for one semester.
I was a law clerk for a Superior Court Judge for two years prior to going into private practice in 1985. During the course of my legal career, I have engaged in a wide variety of criminal and civil practice areas. I practice both trial and appellate work.
